And it's practically true too; everyone likes this thing so much, it's bound to steal your pageviews and cover over your original art, BUT, some people can figure out ways to get around this... like I'm trying to figure out how to import my own models into Poser to use for as Props, but I don't know what format they need to be in...
Anyway, I felt that this piece was too crappy to be art, so I put in as this. You may notice a modification to Krystal (Look at her head), but her body proportions are the same, just I need to figure out Poser better, and she has a different outfit...

Wavefront .obj format generally works best. It's also the format that Poser uses natively for figures and props.
Of the other three model import options, Autocad .dxf format is unsuitable due to its many inherent limitations (and various compatibility issues), Lightwave .lwo can sometimes be unpredictable with regard to object subgroups and material zones, and 3DS Max's .3ds format triangulates everything.
Okay. I use 3DS Max for making models and such, so I will be able to do that.
Although the only problem I seem to be having is sizing things up for the program and textures; I tried importing an object once into the Poser environment, but it came out really small an untextured.
But thanks for clearing it up for me; I'm hoping to get the modeling stuff down someday (speaking of which, is there any good places that have tutorials where I can learn how to do character modeling if you don't mind me asking?)

For help with Poser specifically, and 3D in general, I can recommend Renderosity.com. I don't hang out anywhere that caters mainly to 3DS Max users, but there are plenty of tutorials on the 'Net.
If you already have a basic familiarity with the software, this popular tutorial should provide some valuable insights into the character-modeling process:
Okay, I went there and looked at some of the stuff to see what I could do...
I tried that Joan of Arc tutorial, but it's somewhat difficult to follow... =/
